btw - how do you do the individual roof slopes in Sims 3? I got entirely used to that cheat and then function in Sims 2.

If you are using awesomemod, you can type 'rsa [#] new' into the cheat console to choose the angle of the next roof pieces you place. So it would be 'rsa 15 new' to add a 15 degree angle roof piece.
If you aren't using awesomemod, there's a tutorial for making different roof angles here in the MTS build tutorials. Here's the link:
