Nice work! Really reminds me of some sections of towns in New Mexico and Arizona.

Everything about this lot is so beautiful, Shady. The vibrant colors, the attention to detail, clear over to the architecture. Awesome lot

@RogeerBlood I find it rude and insulting when you're posting in Spanish trying to show yourself better than someone. The Sims is just a game, we all know that - we know that not every house in Sweden is red and white, not every house in Japan has pagoda roof and not every house in Mexico is so colorful and cheerful. Sayint that this house is Mexican shows that -Shady- was inspired by Mexico, not disappointed. It's a good thing!

Again - love this creation -Shady- and I'm working on a community who can live there. A cop and a thief will live there for sure. A musician and his stubborn librarian. Any more ideas? :>

@rabbit - yeah, I don't want any kids in that lot. There will be love and hate (and mucho woo-hoo).

@RogeerBlood I agree with des-demmonia. Shady tried to capture a Mexican atmosphere in her lot, and she successfully did it! I know that not every house in Mexico has as many colors as this one, and that not everyone in Mexico wears a sombrero every day. But as des-demmonia said, The Sims is just a game. Take a look at Shang Simla, Champ Les Sims and Al Simhara. Those countries aren't like that IRL. What makes this house special is the attention put in details!

Shady congratulations on your featured upload, keep it up !

As a Mexican I just have to say that the colors arent very popular here, all the rest its fine. The problem its a mexican series called "EL chavo del ocho" wich used a lot of colorfull houses but in fact that was becouse the set was reused by an old series and they never get rid of the colors (called here in mexico "color pastel" or "cake color" ... :p)
But you should used more yellow/orange collors or even white with red used in almost 80% of the little towns here in mexico. Aside from that everything else its just nice, i must say that its like the japanese houses, not every house its the same but the intention of the cultural view its what matters.

nicely done. :D

ps.
oh btw, "viva piñata" was another game that used a lot of colors wich its incorrect regarding mexican culture.

oh... ok, i don't want to affront someone... i just have played a Adventure game called "NI Bi Ru" and there was a Screenshot on my computer i must have taken during i played.. and i saw it again and had to try it out for the sims. I didn't copy every detail and changed and added things and colors just because of my taste I wanted to create a special feeling of mexican villages, although i've never been to Mexico. To make sure that it wouldn't be too strange i "googled" mexican houses and saw them like i built mine.

@RogerBlood: Please write in english please, when you can answer to these posts above yours, i think you are able to

Wow!! When I saw this, I remembered a place in a game called Ni Bi Ru, but I thought it was my imagination.
And now I know that I had seen it before, when you mentioned the game XDDD

Rogeerblood, please, write in English so everybody can understand you. I´m Spanish and I don´t think that it would be more difficult for you than it is for me.

This is a wonderful village, I like the colors. I'd like to know where you got the aged walls from? Like the dusty edges.
