Just remembered-I used the arcade machines in my las vegas world to recreate slots, and foosball & shuffleboard for table games-just thought that might help!

@Ouerbacker: OMG thank you so much for this tip I didn't know about this option.

@Lennon77777: Thank you for the tip, I didn't think about using arcade games I could also use chess tables as some kind of poker tables Even though probably just one casino will be an actual casino... The other will be normal community lots like art galleries and so on. I'd love to see your Vegas :D

I've played and finished that game for like three times because I'm so addicted to it. xd I never get enough of it.

I'm still playing it!

Gabry, Have you planned doing parks in middle-class and rich suburbs?
Are you adding containers and broken stuff in the allyways of the under-20K suburb?

Yeah-it'll be on the sims 3 forums sometime in the next couple of months under the name "Las Vinas". (Damn-I wish I could add a tilda over the "N"!)

I also just remembered-I sank the diner sign down a bit to make the vegas sign-thought that would help.

@Zandvoort: I will add that stuff

@Lennon: I though about the diner sign too, but I'd prefer to find a realistic custom sign and add that.

The part of Strip I've done, at night:

Wow, it's really nice! How did you do that with the pink and yellow lightstripes on the buildings?

Silly idea, but you should totally include the pawn shop from Pawn Stars, and make Rick, Chumlee, the Old Man, etc It would be a resale shop, of course, but you've gotta have that in vegas! And the Bellagio looks awesome

I was thinking that the other day too. Well, I don't know what "Pawn stars" is but I was thinking what this town needs is a pawn shop, lol. I don't know if this is normal for American cities or maybe it's just 'cause so many people lose all their money gambling but pawn shops seem to be on every corner in Vegas. I was thinking maybe make the consignment store but with a big "EZPAWN" sign or something, lol.

Personally I'd just use the diner sign with maybe some added objects/columns to make it look more like the real thing. It's usually best to not have any custom content in a world.

Why not?

I can understand not having 100 different things to download, but a dozen or so pieces, if selected carefully, can make a world of difference (no pun intended).

Because typically custom content isn't as high in quality as ea's stuff.

LOL! Admittedly a lot of Custom Content out there is of a low quality standard and is therefore lower quality than EA's content, however a lot of EA content it not high quality, and there is a LOT of custom content that is much higher quality than the work of EA. EA will often cut corners and when you to take their content apart you begin to appreciate how jumbled and odd it all is.

To say custom content is not as high quality as EA is a bit of a grotesque generalization, and I would like to think that the majority of the content at least here on MTS is of equal, if not higher quality standards.

I agree with Deluxe Designs about the variability of quality in custom content out there. However, the reasons that I and, I think, others don't want to use custom content is because of problems it has caused for us in the past. I had a lot of custom content in Sims 1 and Sims 2 which made the games slower to load and sometimes caused problems for me when I added expansion packs, in playing the games, etc. Therefore, I decided I would use no custom content in my Sims 3 game. Of course, it's your choice whether or not you want/need to use custom content. To many it won't matter. To others, they will choose not to download your world because of it. I think your world is very creative and you are doing a good job with it!

Guys I'm through a period with lots of tests and exams at school (senior year, lol) and then I'll start working so there will be very few moments to work on the project. But I'll try.

@Lennon: Love it! The airport is impressive. I can recognize the Luxor, Caesar's, Mirage... Very good job!
