looks great, just what I need for my medieval / simple life hoods! It's such a drag sometimes - tons of beautiful clothing (which I love, too) but modern-looking furniture just spoils the image.

Cute idea, but it looks like the child would fall in since there is no seat. Would it be possible to extend the top edge inward or make it more vase shaped and extend the top out to make a seat? Then it could be a chamber pot or commode like those used for centuries. They were still being used in the 1950s by people who did not have indoor plumbing. Maybe still are. I remember having one when I was a kid. It was metal covered with white enamel.
