Default Patch 1.29
http://www.thesims3.com/community/n...011#-1359649085

Several updates but these 2 made me laugh

When using the Fire Pit, Sims can no longer roast and eat horse fertilizer .
Toddlers can no longer get fleas.

C2 is this patch just for players with Pets or for everyone? I'd rather not get another patch so soon after doing a clean install on my game.

A new update? Where did this come from?! Interesting. I wonder if this will change the way your game views CC.

Sounds like a bork someone would make up.

Also, I don't see a single update that fixes the fur issue some have been having, where their pets do not display their fluffiness. . . or did I just miss it?

This one made me snort:

Your Sim can no longer offer to breed or stud other Sims’ horses .

edit: note, it's your SIM not your Sim's horse...

Several people on tumblr have posted that this patch fixes the fur issue, some with screenshots.

Fixed a lighting issue involving Sim baby heads .

I wonder does this mean the next baby I have, will not have the weird dark patch in his head.

•The Heart of Stone and No Jealousy Lifetime Rewards now prevent the Accuse of Cheating social from being used against the Sim with the rewards .

thank god now if they only could make the reputations work.

EDIT :•An issue that caused Sims to go invisible when traveling to a Vacation world has been fixed .
I hate them they should have fi all of WAs issues long ago at least they are fixing them at all...

Bah, I just got Pets installed, I don't want a patch to kill it again!

•Fixed an issue where the ladle failed to function with the magic cauldron
Am I missing something? since when has there been a magic cauldron? I feel daft.

My game was actually working quite well before this patch. Here's hoping that upgrading was not a huge mistake.

Looks like it's everyone from looking at the updates.

Personally I won't be updating until I see the overall response from the rest of the community and twallan has updated his mods. He's going away for the holiday in a couple of days so hopefully he will have time to change whatever has been affected. If not, we wait til after the new year. Which is ok cuz I'll be away til then too!

I am happy to see also that they removed the bug where the foals were born with those funky looking markings all the time and that horses can be led thru gates now!

That's exactly what it means. I've seen a screenshot and finally, no more dented infant sim heads.

I am waiting to see if my mods need updating/ are updated before I install the mod. I must admit I didn't expect to get a patch until the next EP came out, I have become so cynical of EA.

You mean the ones they inherit from their parents?

Doubt it, that was intentional from what I can tell.

Maybe that's something they are going to release in the store? Strange though.

The store has a premium category named 'magic'
This is what TS3 magic is going to be. One item released every 3 months or so.
The cauldron is the 2nd item. No magic EP this time.

I can't believe that they are hiding magic cauldrons from me. I am going to have to hex them for this.

Well it took 'em long enough to fix the dented baby head problem that's been there since the release of the base game.

No mention of the bug in Generations with teens going to the prom with a family member and becoming their love interest? Well maybe next year.

Good job EA

kittens!
