That's really wonderful mod! On the other hand I experienced in real life, cooking takes indeed a long time, and while cooking, the family asks repeatedly how long it still will take. When served, the meal is quickly away and gone - as well as the family - and a frustrated housewife may clean up the kitchen :-((

So with this mod the sims are becoming more realistically for me.

I tried your mod and I love it. I always hated how my sims would take something around 2 hours to cook and then eat for maybe 20-30 minutes. The changes in this mod are much more reasonable and preferable.

I like this idea. Is there any change to the rate of skilling for cooking since the cook time is shorter?

I haven't changed anything in the skills file. When testing the mod it didn't seem to me that their rate of skilling is noticeable shorter.

Quick question... would you be able to make a modification to this mod and upload it separately? Basically giving us a choice between the cook time and eat time.

What I mean is I'll be happy to use this mod, because I agree that they take too long to cook the food, but I don't really want them to eat at a slower rate. I'm the type of player that speeds up the game to get more sim days in before I shut the game down. So could you make a version with the faster cook time and default eat time?
