I absolutely love the house, but I have a slight problem with it in game... All my family members are currently stuck upstairs :/ Each time I have them walk down the stairs they simply turn around as soon as they get to the first floor and walk up again.

That's weird, I never had that problem when play testing. Did you try replacing it/reloading your game?

I think I've found a solution to the stairs problem. You must delete the fire in the living room, because it overlaps with the stairs.

This is a very nice traditional house, suitable for a wealthy, probably somewhat conservative family. I love how detailed and realistic it is.
