I love how you never gave up and actually got to the point where you fixed the problem rather then just work around it like we usually end up doing. You are a true creator and I stand in awe of your new skills I'm still tweaking my maid and butler tuning mod. But, you can expect to see it within the next week or so.

Can you delete the older download treat? (***OBSOLETE*** Maids and Butlers will feed fish ! (3 Flavors))

That one stands as a tuning alternative for people who don't want to use script mods. I encourage using this one, that is why I marked the other one as obsolete and wanred in the header about a better one available, as well as offer people a choice, then it's up to them.
Besides, they're technically 2 different mods. This one is a replacement for the 'Feed Fish' interactions and while I was at it, I included a tuning to include Maid and Butler. The other one is just a tuning and leaves the original interactions alone.

If the staff will ever decide to delete it due to the site policy, then I'll be ok with it, but until then, I prefer keeping it alive

Thanks. With all the pets available, I've been going insane trying to figure out how my sims can live their lives and take care of their animals if I were to allow my animal loving side free reign. It disturbed me that the maid would no longer help with this simple function..., I mean, how hard is it to tap a food canister over a tank? Thanks for taking some of the load off of my sims' shoulders!

Does this work with the other tank animals, such as turtle? If not, could you make it so? Love your mod, btw, great job on fixing this!

that would require assigning the maid\butler to have the role of bartender.
although I'm sure it's possible to have them do both ... it would most likely cause a lot of issues. Just hire a bartender if you really need someone to tend bar. that's my 2 bits.

It wouldn't be hard to make I guess, but it would be more appropriate and cause less troubles (like Bob pointed out) if such functionality was added to a new NPC service. I think I read about someone making a new Butler somewhere but I'm not quite sure

Where did you get the fish tank that is in the picture?

The Aquarium (or Fish Tank) comes with High End Loft Stuff (SP1).

If you have that stuff pack installed then you may find it under the Hobbies tab

Excellent idea! The Maids DID clean the aquarium in Sims 2, so did the Nannies - thouh sometimes they did it to excess, spalshing water all over the floor as theycleaned, recleaned, cleaned, and cleaned, yet again the aquariums, and that "Squeak, Squeak, Squeak" sound would go on and on, until, I'd get tired of it and delete the aquariums! But, I still like to see a clean aquarium so I can watch my pretty fishes with an unobstructed view (Without actually having to do the work myself, hehehe!) Thanks for making this Mod, and sharing it with us.

This mod just fixes the availability of the "Feed" interaction, checking if fish are hungry, the rest is pure EA behavior. I don't know if it happens ingame cos I'm not playing it much lately but the interaction tuning suggests all occults can do it

This is a great and very useful mod. Would you be able to make another mod like this one for the beekeeping box that came with Supernatural? I can't have a butler and a beekeeping box on the same lot or the butler will continuously clean the box and not do anything else. I'd love to have my butler clean, feed and smoke my bees but not have that the only thing he/she does. If you could make a mod to fix that glitch it would be much appreciated.
