Default The LLAMA
Please tell me this is an obvious reference to the TARDIS from Doctor Who.

I also like (and knew there would be) the reference to the British TV series Being Human.

plus a nod to the Ministry of Magic from Harry Potter as well. Those phone boxes get around. But mostly I think of Tardis.

I nearly cried when I first used it. For obvious reasons. <3

I don't get the reference. I never really seen Harry Potter movies aside from the first two.

From Order Of The Phoenix. They use a Phone Box to travel to the ministry.

It's a Doctor Who reference, the Harry Potter ones acted as lifts, not teleporters.

My sim used one of the LLAMA's to teleport whithin the first few hours of gameplay ( I was so excited, I clicked literally everything!) . She subsequently was cursed with the sad/tragic clown moodlet. I haven't used a LLAMA since then. Not sure if this is a common occurance or just a random thing. Besides, I'm still totally thrilled with seeing my sim fly around on her broom to care so much. Bad !

The Simlish wording above the door reads "FUTURE".

This is a cool object.
I haven't delved too deeply, but you can sort of create underground tunnels with doors (Tardis's) that lead to other underground tunnels on other lots with this item.
So it means you can sort of have underground cities now. It's superior to using a subway rug (which makes train noises) or digger holes (which is dirty)

Yeaaaah I suppose, that's a last resort, I wouldn't fancy swimming through underground tunnels to get my morning paper.
Tardis is better :P

Kinda reminds me of Inspector Spacetime from Community!

I really hope you know that Inspector Spacetime is a Doctor Who reference.

The simbots remind me of the cyborgs (sp?) in Doctor Who. Especially with the potions to make one and "cure" one. But then again, if we really wanted to, we could find references to every "supernatural/sci-fi" thing out there :D

But I did place a tardis (that's what im' calling it HA) on my lot and totally renamed it TARDIS. MUAHAHAHHA #SorryNotSorry

Eh the only downside is that some sims faint when they use it...some just get scared and sometimes they turn into clowns...but I don't care, I love it anyway. <3 (Oh and I also renamed mine TARDIS. I thought it would then say "travel via TARDIS" but sadly, no)

Nah, renaming them is just so that you know which lot you are travelling to when you select it from the destination list.
