This is the download version I have http://lunasimslulamai.jimdo.com/fantasy-forest/ <-- Images and the CC can be downloaded here --> https://yadi.sk/d/cK8q838see3ga
They show up in build mode under trees :-)

Thank you Nilxis for the help! You are always so quick to answer whenever I have a CAW issue or question :-) And I can tell, Crowkeeper, that I think this is such a great contribution to the game play. I have a Tumblr and I think a lot is looking forward to play in your houses and middle earth in general :-) So it will most definitely be used by someone ;-)

Saw on your thread at the official fourms you were wondering about some of the less friendly sections of middle earth? Aside from Mordor/Barad-Dur (which you already mentioned) there's also Isenguard/Orthanc (Mini Mordor, Big black tower in a round valley near Rohan) The Dead Marshes (Ugly grey swamp near Mordor) Minas Morgul (Sister city to Minas Tirith, now home to the Nazgul and serious bad magic) above that is the pass of Citrith Ungol (Shelob. Nuff said.) There's also Moria and its surrounding lands (Wargs and orcs and watchers, oh my!) and the Barrow Downs (Home to barrow wights and generally an astonishingly creepy place to be so close to the Shire) And really, there's ruins just about everywhere. Middle-earth is an incredibly desolate place really.
Hope this helps, if you want me to take a crack at building any of these places (or some houses for Rohan) let me know.

yeah same here, if you want anything I could do - just ask.

I just read the official forums thread on gaxili's world and someone has made Thranduil and given him the Inappropriate trait! I am off now to the official forums to glare angrily at that *person* and threaten to separate their pitiful heads from their miserable shoulders

@Nylaba I think the Dead Marshes could be an awesome project.

Hello ^^

This looks very nice, too bad my poor notebook can't handle such huge worlds.

I don't know if you are going to make Mordor, but I had this random idea for the
eye of Sauron: trying to use the same optical illusion used by this doll so it seems
like the eye is following the camera.

I don't have that object so I don't know the details, but I wonder if you can get an
even better optical illusion using concave mirrors like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zNqXtzTcIqE
EDIT: an alternative may be to remesh+retexture the lighthouse.

Anyway, sorry for the diversion. Keep up the good work!

Great ideas! I have always been a sucker to everything idyllic as The Shire, Rivendell, you name it.. But I suppose LOTR fans would get disappointed if they downloaded the world and there was no place for evil It sounds great with the Rohan houses! I got this built set recommended http://modthesims.info/d/377001 if you are up for it? For some reason I can't really get Rohan done, except from the terrain paint.. The terrain paint should be all right ;-) Send me a PM in case you are still interested

I understand what you mean by the inappropriate trait - I suppose that's up to how you like to play a sim depending on what traits you give them Hehe!

Oh and you were absolutely right about Luna's trees! They suits in so perfectly <3

This was most definitely useful! Thank you, Arsil And regarding the large world I will be happy to tell you that I too play on a low-end computer. It's a HP Pavilion. I tested Praaven to compare with my world (Same size) and it has 20.000+ objects according to master controller. My world has rougly 2,500 objects which is a whole lot less. I am play testing it right now, so I really hope that it can be playable for even lower end computers
Also I don't furnish the homes so that would reduce the lag a whole lot! I will be updating some specs later :lovestruc

CROWKEEPER, I am falling off my chair. Would there be any chance this could be included in the world? I tried builting the white tower, and I failed at it. I couldn't possibly remake anything that would look even close to what you did here

The sixth one will be the alchemy shop. I want to try to make it inside of the tree the same way as Luna: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-_rB3oBQmf...eenshot-936.jpg

I am sorry Gaxili but the tower looks terrible actually. I made the screenshot at night so that it wouldnt be so visible...I just wanted to test the effects (I am ill so I have to stay in bad so I am reeeeeeeeeeeeeealy bored:D) And the tower is not even accesible you know

You are amazing, Crowkeeper! I love your tree houses and I love the idea of having the potion-shop inside of a tree I can't wait to add them all! They look great. It's all right with the tower, I will try to remake it and hopefully make it accessible I am so thankful for the fog emitter code! That is very useful. I still have one area left for the world, and I will try to see if some of Mordor could fit in there

Eeek, I am always too excited when this post pops up in the "New post"-section!
The tree houses are lovely! They are done in such a neat way..

I really love the atmosphere in Bree Town. It's just like I imagine it. A small, quiet town where people mostly hang at the Prancing Pony (which is essential!!).

Alright, tried my hand at a Rohan styled house. It's fairly small, 20x15 lot, but has room for three and a small garden. Also, this one is CC and Store free!

EDIT:

I feel really bad since you said that it would be very hard for you to remake it so I just wanted to say that I can try to build it again and make the lower part accessible.

Aaw well you certainly didn't have to! But that is so nice of you, I love the tower so much :lovestruc Thank you for the sweet note on Bree! <3

Aaw I love it! It's very nice and cousy, the only thing is that the world will be with very few decorated houses but I really love what you did with the rugs and the fireplace! Thank you hun I might change the outside wall painting and add a "barn" like top to the roof to make it fit in with the other Rohan houses but this is so nice :lovestruc

So I made the tower again. The lower part is accessible and the sim can get to the second floor through dive well - I think it would be nice to make some sort of adventure there. It is not a complete build, it is just a very rough base but I thought that you can improve it with your landscaping and decorating skills Or maybe you can just use it as inspiration. I uploaded it here in case you would like to use it. But I wouldn't mind at all If you will not use it

yeah and the lot size is 30x30

Edit: here is the finished alchemy shop (luna style:D)

I have put the basic furniture there to make it functional:

This is great! I had my own try with Sauron's Tower, but I don't have your building skills soo.. I am definitely adding it to the world! My English isn't good enough for me to express what I have to say about your Luna inspired Alchemy shop which of course will also be added to the world! :lovestruc :lovestruc

Edit: and I used like four foggemitters with fire effects and it is too muchCan you please leave just one "firesim" there?
sorry

I think you did an amazing job with the tower! I see what you mean by the light, I am currently making the same wallpaper a tad darker and I will update here with a screenie just when it is finished! I also adjusted the light so we only have 1 fog emitter with the firesim effect :-) I love it so much!

I am sorry that I misunderstood, I am not very good at English.
I would love to try making more buildings for this evil part of your world Maybe something that would be destroyed at some parts( I love making these sort of things)
But I will finish the elven houses first And I am not ill anymore so back to school on MondaySo I wont be able to build so much...what a shame:P
BTW: I think I really should watch the movies to know how these buildings should look like...I feel kind of bad helping someone with a LOTR world without seeing the movies:D
