Default What have you recently received via postal services
I would have called it by mail, but that would encompass e-mail.

I'm talking about postal, parcel and courier services.

Today, I got a package a day early and it had four Ever After High dolls, 1 boy and 3 girls and the first half of Season 1 of 2014 translation of the 1990s Sailor Moon anime.

I have a fondness for delivery services.

Junk mail, mainly. The last one was an offer for a credit card with a terrible interest rate. No thank you!

Thankfully, no bills! Other than that, just my W-2s. I've been thinking about mailing someone a letter, though, and perhaps sending them a package (so they could have a brightened day, too!), but I'm just going to give it to her in person. Saves on postage!

I love getting orders from online shopping in the mail, but it's been a while since I've ordered anything online. The mailbox is gathering dust...

I miss when we got regular porn in the mail. Those were happy days, waiting for the delivery of new spank material each month instead of the instant gratification of the internet? There's something to be said for that, like taking the hooker out for a hamburger before you go to the motel.

Given that I whore myself out (and I just realized this) in many ways, in many places, make sure you have enough for sushi...I tend to top myself every time.

But in any case, highlights and lowlights of the day are best defined by the postal services' pay outs.

Last thing I got in the mail (besides bills and junkmail) was this.

Because when I'm not playing games, I'm doing really nerdy shit.

Last item that made me very very happy was a bunch of books from Amazon. Last actual items were some vitamins (thanks for reminding me, by the way - I'd almost forgotten to pay the last bill for the vitamins, and it's due tomorrow *yelp*)

Beautiful shiny copper things for making little ... jewelry, you might guess? No: little radio antennas.

I deny that I'm trying to one-up #GnatGoSplat
First, there's no rule against having many people doing really nerdy things.
Second, @stuart-grey just got a book on General Relativity -- which is awfully darned fancy egghead stuff even as compared with Special Relativity -- so if there ever had been the possibility of a contest in that area, it's sure out of the question now, isn't it.

(I only learned Special Relativity up to the part about how the faster we go, the rounder we get.)
(The package that arrived in the mail for me wasn't round at all.)

UKIP were in Bridlington last last Saturday. I found a leaflet on the floor after they sodded off, and I tore it to shreds.

My most recent was a summon for Teen Court (don't worry, just jury duty).

My most recent that I anticipated was Bluestar's Prophecy by Erin Hunter and some really crappy headphones. I regret buying those headphones.

Good point! Maybe I could use it to clean the cat's litter box. UKIP covered in poop sounds most fitting.
