What dream job do you desire?
Recently, I put electronic equipment from Magnavox under the Funai name (it's the VHS-DVD and DVD-VHS Player, recorder and converter) in the Amazon cart and I began to put blank DVDs and VHS tapes in as well.

I guess I'm nostalgic for my pet project from 9th grade. I had to work with VHS because our junior high suffered from lack of funding to upgrade. I actually remember the fact that one segment requires reversed sound, but there wasn't any option to do so, so that meant I had to go home, reverse the sound on the software GoldWave, burn to disk, copy song to drive and insert to finish.

I guess my dream job is film director\writer\editor\designer\producer\animator & voice. Many productions over the years were one-woman ones.

Personal Quote: "I like my men like my sodas: tall boys." (Zevia has both 12 and 16 oz options)

(P.S. I'm about 5' (150cm) in height and easily scared)

From the ages 5-14 years old my dream job was also to be a film director/producer but then when it came to choosing my GCSE options I picked photography as one of the options and I decided that my dream job was to be a wedding photographer but after losing interest in doing photography for my GCSE (I still enjoy doing it for pleasure), I have now decided that my dream job is to be a veterinary Nurse when I'm older because I have always been interested in animals and in order to pursue that dream I am going to be doing animal care at college if I get into the course. I kind of want to be a zoo keeper as well but a veterinary nurse has a better salary so I'd prefer to do that as I will still be working with animals.

Full-time, successful author.

Actually, my absolute dream 'job' would be to get paid well for doing nothing, but I don't think that's ever going to happen.

Eugh, loads of things. It would be cool to be a comic book writer, or write for an adult cartoon or short sketches. I did media studies as well as film studies as a GCSE and A-Level and enjoyed it, but it was more of a hobby. I do Psychology as a degree, and I really enjoy learning psychology but I don't care so much for actually doing a job involving it. I have experience working in a hospital, and I really enjoyed it, I'd love to become a Doctor because you just keep learning and learning, but at the same time I don't want to do long hours. I guess if you count "full time parent" as a job, that would be my ideal job. I love children and raising children - my perfect future would be spending as much time with my kids as possible, but at the same time people always look down on full time parents, even ones with degrees as if they're lazy and using children as an excuse to not get a job. I might become a housewife but also do volunteer work in hospitals and such, then when the kids are at school get a Masters/PhD. But I dunno after that.

Already have ones dream job. It pays dirt, but it offers flexibility, creative freedom, and mental stimulation.

I always wanted to be a mortician, but as I get older I realize I probably don't have the stomach for it. At the moment I'd really love to own and operate my own antique shop. <3

Something artistic that implies my love for painting and crafting in general.
Would be awesome if I ever had the chance to become an artist designer for videogames, or have my own painting attelier.

When I was a teen I dreamed about learning playing guitar and become the most awesome, fast and gooddamn guitar player, and share some stages with Slash and my favourite music groups. I spent all my time painting so that couldn't be XDD. In my next life then.

I just remembered that when I was a kid I wanted to be racing pilot, explorer, astronaut, astronomy scientist and move to an indian zone (cherokee, Sioux..) and live wiht them XDD.

I didn't really think it over until I was 13 or so. Then I constantly wanted to be paid well for making words.

Yet writing a full book or anthology of stories eludes me. Next best thing is to write for games from the comfort of my house. After I finish the Mechanical Armageddon, I may start on one about a pirate coming back to see her stepuncle.

As a kid I wanted to be a professional football player (like 95% of the boys in my country), a veterinarian (I wanted to help animals to get better) and later be as rich a Bill Gates (from a yearbook from my final year at high school). Now I don't know.

I always wanted to either teach history because I love the subject or be some type of script editor since I have always been really good at finding problems in stories I read or watch and coming up with ways to fix them. Everyone I talk to tells me that I am good at spotting when characters are acting out of character in stories and finding ways to tell the same story without breaking the characters, so i always thought that would be something I would be good at.

It's not likely to happen but that is my dream job.

My PC specs.
Windows 7 64 bit,AMD FX 4300 quad core processor, 8 gigs DDR3 ram, 1 gig Geforce 9500 graphics card, patch 1.67.2
Every time I reinstall the game I run it clean without any CC, not even the store bought stuff so it isn't CC or mods that cause me trouble.

My dream job would be to draw/write a comic series but then also release an official porn comic to fill in the spaces between that we don't see, or just for fun, like "what ifs" and non-canon specials.

The comic would be a drama/comedy based in the "boy golly, gee whiz" idealistic version of the american 50's (think "pleasantville"). The main focus would be around a group of young adults who just left school, but the story would spread to include their families, coworkers, old teachers and just generally the rest of the small town.

But while I'm ok at drawing, I'm in no way skilled enough to be happy with anything I would produce at this point. I should practice more but I just... It's not my passion anymore. Sometimes I wonder if drawing ever really was a passion, but rather just something I was naturally good at and had literally nothing else to do (doodling in class was my saviour until I realised that just not going was actually a viable option for me).

Either way, probably never going to happen!

ETA: I didn't think to put past dream jobs.
When I was a kid, I wanted to be a teacher.
Then when I was an early teen, I still wanted to be a teacher, but after seeing what secondary school was like, I decided I specifically wanted to be a primary school teacher.

Then, a little later I wanted to be a counsellor (the mental health kind, not the government kind).

Then I decided I didn't want to work at all if I could help it, because I want to be a stay at home mum who home-educates.
I still want this these days but for a while I wanted to write and illustrate a children's book, or maybe even a series of children'd books.
But I couldn't decide what age group I wanted to aim at, so when I had the general story down, I didn't know how to actually write it out in a child-friendly way. Sometimes it seemed to complicated, sometimes it seemed to simple, and I just couldn't get it.

Also, every 5 minuets I'd be writing a draft scene and suddenly my mind would be like "AND THEN THEY HAD SEX" (only a little more detailed and graphic, mental pictures and everything...) and I'm like NO this is a children's story, leave me alone, no.
So I decided children's stories just weren't my speed.

But that lead me to my new dream job.

Hm... Lets list them, shall we? Lol. In elementary school I wanted to draw comics (like in the newspaper). In middle school I wanted to be a professional jazz trumpeter. In early high school that switched to clarinet. In later high school, I wanted to be a professional bassoonist in a symphony orchestra. In my college years, I backed off of performance to education, and wanted to be a band director.

In the one year of university I was able to take, I became especially aware of my interest in music history, which didn't quite match the other students in the music program. In the couple of years since, I've seen that perhaps I'd be a better fit to teach music history. Oh gosh, especially if I could teach the history of brass and woodwind instruments! If I could push that in the course somewhere, I'd be so excited. Lol.

On that thought, it might be really neat to teach the double reeds class, too. Since I'm now learning the oboe, I will be able to say I am proficient at both! Also, you get to throw in some history in there, and double reeds and their history are my highest point of interest!

If for whatever reason, none of this works out for me (finding a college around with that degree is hard, plus my oboe teacher let me know I would probably need a Master's to even get qualified to teach music history. Yikes), I could probably do fine going into History in general and teaching something like the Medieval England class I took. There was a nice balance between culture and events in that class, I think it'd be fun to teach... but I really want music something. Wish me luck. Lol.

♫ Keeping this here until EA gives us a proper playable woodwind/brass instrument ♫
For now, though, my decorative Bassoon conversion for TS4. =)

I wanted to be an architect. Then I found out that you needed to be good at both maths and physics (8 year old me was mediocre at best). I gave that up, but still had/have an interest in it when in high school. Then I learned that you ALWAYS start from the bottom and have to work your way up; and I was sitting there thinking "ain't nobody got time for that".

I've always been particularly fond of languages, and I,m not too bad if I'm interested in the language. So I wanted to be an a translator (not an interpreter cos I know I'll never be that good). But the problem is that I'd need to take intensive classes to be able to use said languages effectively. And I can't do that yet cos uni is a thing, and I'd rather surround myself in said language by moving there for a short time than try and squeeze in some evening classes in.

During GCSE they made us do the My Futurewise thing. It was was total bull. Like it gave me most things in my interests, but very little that I could realistically achieve. Like I got waay below average in the maths section, yet cos I'd expressed an interest in technology, mechanics etc, they recommended aeronautical engineering. Yeah you read that right. Aeronautical engineering. *shakes head* I still have a better chance at becoming a packaging designer than that!

Temporarily I anted to be Leader of The Freeworld, but concluded that politics was messy, and if I wanted to life as long as possible without facing a significant number life threatening situations caused by my "allies", then I'd best choose something else

Still don't know what I want to be. All I know that I'm unlikely to be the best at the things that really appeal to me. There will always be a 12 year old who can do it better than me.

I'll find a way to be rich though

caught me by surprise, that.
When I was a senior in high school (16) my girlfriend & I used to kill ourselves laughing about our "dream job", and making up skits. We both had deep voices ...phone sex.
Then I thought about being a sexual surrogate - legit and everything, through a psychologist's office. Yes, seriously. This was before I discovered the cure for raging hormones...marriage.

Stand up, speak out. Just not to me..
