funny thing is sims4 is so dead game when it comes to random visitors I finds myself asking if this mod will be useful, I'd gladly got mod adding more random visits to it

What a great idea. Just the other day I was wishing for a door bell so I would at least hear my visitors at the door. This is a better solution though.

not like Sims1. in the Sims4 i never can hear the doorbell. seldom realized there are visitors, except the annoying welcoming wagon.

LOL I don't ever check the door (in the sims or RL) but this is a really good idea. Thanks! <3 Maybe now I can have my sims make friends without having to travel all over the place lol.

Same visitors spawned like crazy without me inviting anyone and I had to remove this mod But, great idea for a mod <3

I'm not even sure how I could look into this. The file I edited has no impact on the number of visitors, it just gives the sims some kind of 60 second cooldown buff (Buff_walkbyNPC_ringDoorbell_cooldown), and I only added in a notification for when it's triggered. I didn't make any changes to the buff or how it's applied to sims. I also haven't noticed any increase in the number of visitors in my own game, so I can't really test it either. I'm very sorry, I just can't think of anything I could possibly do here.

EDIT: ok, I actually did think of one possible cause, just need to do some tests firsts...
EDIT: no luck. I thought perhaps that cooldown buff wasn't applying to sims, but I was able to confirm that it still is applying like it always has

It's so funny but in my language, Swedish, when someone is at the door the text starts with: "Gå till doktorn" translated to English "Go to the Doctor" and not "Visitor at the door"
