Find out information about Content

Causes

If you had not read the Description the item's creator had painstakingly taken the time to write, do so now. There may be specific instructions on where the item is to be found that may be different from the norm.

Also make sure that you are looking where you are supposed to look! Sometimes we make wrong assumptions.

If this is not the first new item you're installing, there are a few areas we can check starting from re-downloading to alternative methods of installing content. It is best that you DO the suggestions in these pages, not just READ them, even if you think the circumstances are not applicable. After all, you have tried everything else and nothing has worked, so what have you got to lose?

Actions

Step 1: Read Description

Any pertinent information relating to the item, would most likely be included in the Description tab. Look out for any information that has been updated or added from feedback from downloaders as well. In fact, reading the comments before downloading is generally a good idea, too!

  1. Information you need to know are oulined in Read about content page which is part of the Downloading and Installing content FAQ series of articles.

Step 2: Where to Look

Are you looking in the correct places? Depending on how the item is categorized or perceived by the creator, the location where you looked for it may not be where the creator has stashed it. This is why, reading the Description is truly helpful.

  1. We have a full guide in the Where to Look for Content FAQ.
